"In the meeting place of darkness and light there will be an answer"Awaken Solace originated as a collaboration between Keyboardist /Pianist Alex Ennever and Vocalist / Lyricist Maree Nipperess. The recordings on this site are just a demo of some of the material Awaken Solace developed while working in this context.
The band recently acquired the skills of Guitarist Elspeth Johnson and Bassist Robert Russell and hence, has begun its always intentional transition to become a full pledged symphonic metal band. Now only requiring the addition of a drummer, Awaken Solace seeks to incorporate a range of influences, sophistication and experimentation. Awaken Solace is based in Brisbane, Qld Australia.
